In partnership with councils and local authorities, Eco Green Communities sell exclusive advertising spaces on environmental stations in strategically selected outdoor locations not available to any other outdoor advertisers.

Our stations are in two categories; eco dog stations and litter picking stations. The stations are robust, tried and tested. Secured to existing posts at eye level, they dispense 100% compostable waste bags completely free for the community to use. The council/ local authority maintains and merchandises the stations.
As a company, Eco Green Communities dispenses over 1 million bags annually. This simple free solution for the dog owner makes an impact on the awareness of an individual’s responsibility to keep the community clean.
Julie Cook, Director of Eco Green Communities, said: “By sponsoring these stations companies are helping to reduce dog fouling which is a perennial problem for many local authorities. Numerous studies show that people are more likely to drop litter in areas where there are already high volumes of rubbish, including dog waste. Where litter levels are low, people are more likely to dispose of all types of waste responsibly. A survey of councils we are working with has shown that where the stations are installed there is an average decrease in dog fouling complaints of 49.4% and a 56.8% decrease in overall litter. This is an extremely positive result.”
Built into the advertising package are effective features to showcase the promote the station’s launch including an interview and a press release to be repurposed on social media channels and websites. An optional QR code can be placed on the station to offer a direct digital link to the sponsors website.
