Manufacturing over 20 million products a year, stocking over 300 different materials with their products used in over 90 different countries, BDK is consistently adapting to the rising changing and challenging demand from a multitude of diverse markets.
The global need for tapes and adhesives has led to expansion not only in the factory facility but the entire work team.
Production is underway at the site 24 hours a day, five days per week, and over the last three years, there has been a 32% rise in staff numbers.
There are 90 members of staff in total at BDK, with almost 25% of them being with the company for more than 15 years. By constantly adding new members and benefiting from a hugely experienced management team, they are always ready to tackle the demand for precision cut adhesive tape components.
The management team, including Nick Falconer the managing director, is comprised of 10 individuals with a combined service of 193 years.
Reflecting the growth in demand for adhesive technologies, each BDK capability is followed by new, skilled staff members, along with the expansion of on-site facilities.
Developing close partnerships with customers has helped BDK Adhesives get to where they are today and accomplish the success that they have achieved.
Always looking to the future, it’s exciting to see where BDK will be in the next 60 years!
