Ellisons Solicitors is continuing to invest in its team’s expertise, bolstering its residential property team in Ipswich with the appointment of Carly Callaghan.
Carly joins the team as an Associate Solicitor and will be based at Ellisons’ Wherstead Park office. Since qualifying in 2007, Carly has worked at regional firms in Ipswich and Clacton, and has handled a wide variety of residential property cases.
As an expert in her field, Carly specialises in all residential property matters including shared ownership, leasehold and freehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and probate purchases, and residential conveyancing including equity release and mobile and park homes.
Commenting on her appointment, Carly said: “I’m delighted to be joining the residential team in Ipswich. Ellisons is a highly regarded law firm that has a proven track record for delivering excellent customer service, placing its clients at the heart of the practice. This is something that is incredibly important to me, and I look forward to providing the best results for my clients.”
As well as enhancing its residential property offering, Ellisons has also promoted Senior Associate and licensed conveyancer, Patrick Logan to Head of Department. The firm has also recently announced a merger with Ipswich-based law firm, Blocks Solicitors, which will see Ellisons expand its expertise in a range of service offerings including agriculture and rural affairs, as well as gaining a second office in the town. The new office, which is located on Arcade Street, will carry a new name – Ellisons Solicitors incorporating Blocks.
Patrick joined the Ellisons family in 2008, and as departmental head will be responsible for the entire residential property team across the firm’s seven offices in Suffolk and Essex.
Patrick, Head of Residential Conveyancing, commented: “Carly is a fantastic asset to have in the team. Despite the current situation we are all facing, it is reassuring to see that Ellisons continues to invest in its people, and ensure that its commitment to customers and clients remains at the forefront.”
Following government instruction, all of Ellisons Solicitors’ departments are working from home and are contactable via telephone and email.
