Ensuring your people work well together is one of the most significant steps your business can take.
Everything DiSC® profiling identifies your employees’ personality and work style, helping you to get the best out of them and offering them insightful personal development.
Corporate Growth Consultancy is an Everything DiSC authorised partner specialising in helping businesses to train and engage their staff while driving performance.
The well-known and cost-effective training technique has an immediate impact on employees. They take the Everything DiSC on Catalyst profile test online, then receive in-depth feedback on their result and how to use it in the workplace.
Teams can undergo further remote or in-house training to build on the Everything DiSC results.
The benefits will be apparent to business owners and can generate huge returns on their training investment. In the longer term, it will also help reduce staff turnover, absence and allow you to introduce change with faster acceptance.
Corporate Growth Consultancy is led by a certified Everything DiSC trainer and The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team™ facilitator, Mary Aslett. The company is based in Suffolk but serves the whole of the UK and beyond.
Mary said: “The Everything DiSC Workplace on Catalyst experience is excellent. The learning platform is accessible 24/7 and is a fantastic resource for understanding more about yourself and others. There is so much information to dive into, and learning how to work best with co-workers is invaluable for creating a happy and productive workplace.
“One client used the learning resources to find out which colleagues would work best together on a complex project that needed close attention to detail. By choosing the right blend of people for the job, the project was completed successfully ahead of schedule.”
Mary said the “build better relationships” section of the Everything DiSC training helped staff understand how to work more effectively with one another.
Each team member taking the profiling is represented on a circle split into four equal segments:
- D for dominance
- I for influence
- S for steadiness
- C for conscientiousness
A dot represents visually where the individual is. He or she may be towards the edge of the circle for more extreme characteristics or further towards the centre for a more balanced result. No position is right or wrong; it’s how a business owner can get the ideal mix of people working together for the best results.
Mary explained: “It’s also about each person seeing their position and understanding how that defines their behaviour, and also how that behaviour affects other people with different character types.
“A business owner can use results to put the right people together for a particular task. Clients learn that co-workers with a ‘D’ style tend to address issues directly and move on. Someone with an ‘S’ style may give way to keep harmony – but retain bitterness or hurt feelings that can bubble away under the surface.
“The overwhelming reaction from clients is that their staff used this greater understanding of themselves and their co-workers to create a better workplace environment.”
Corporate Growth Consultancy is also a specialist partner for the Five Behaviours Profile Assessments – these can be fast-paced one-day events or more in-depth three-day training sessions. The sessions are ideal for building a cohesive and productive team.
If you want your teams to undergo fast and effective online health and safety training (which may be a legal requirement), Mary’s team can facilitate the complete VideoTile suite of training programmes.
The courses are updated regularly. The latest addition to the collection addresses the construction sector with the ‘preparation for the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test’.
