This weekend, Ipswich Sports Club will be hosting the Karakal East of England Squash Masters, a prestigious event with the top players from around the country competing to secure a place in the England team.
Masters events are for players aged 35 and over and cater for male and female entrants, with a range of events, beginning with the over 35 tournaments all the way up to an over 80 event. The British Open Masters Squash Championships is the oldest and most established tournament in masters squash and is widely considered to be one of the two most prestigious tournaments, alongside the World Masters.
Games will commence at 2 pm on Friday 14th January, with matches playing throughout the weekend, with the final expected to take on Sunday afternoon.

This is the first time Ipswich Sports Club will be hosting a Squash Masters event and we are expecting to have over 170 players competing this weekend.”
The club has 7 courts in total, including 5 glass backs and excellent viewing facilities for anyone who wants to come along and spectate.
