East Anglian Pest Control in Ipswich was launched 14 years ago by Richard Harvey. Here, he explains more about his service for the area’s businesses and residents.
I have been working in pest control for 21 years, undertaking many training courses and exams, together with all of the hands-on work.
East Anglia Pest Control is a small business, and we offer a professional service to clients which prevents infestations from reoccurring.
Pest control is very important, as rodents, birds and insects can damage property or spread disease to humans.
We offer customers honest advice and reliability. All clients are given a report detailing the levels of pests and the materials we will be using, proofing and housekeeping. These important areas are vital to success in pest control treatments.
We use safe practises and correct PPE, and risk assessments are produced before work.
The correct training and approach to infestations makes for happy customers.
Over the years, I have done pest control work in hospitals, food factories, flour mills, high street retailers, warehouses, shops, airports, farms and MOD sites. Even racing stables and a nuclear power station.
We can bring all these years of experience to help our customers.
Rodents and insects are seasonal, and we also install bird proofing to control pigeons.
I really love the challenges we come up against. No two days are the same,
and I like helping people and showing them how we will sort out their problems.
Being honest and providing a cost-effective solution to our customers, we have quite a few who use us on a yearly contract.
