SetpointHQ helps employers get found by candidates
An Ipswich consultancy set up this year is helping employers deal with a growing hiring problem: being found by the right candidates in the first place.
SetpointHQ Limited, founded in March 2026 by Andy Pirie, former Chief Marketing Officer at Sanctuary Personnel, works with employers and recruitment businesses on the marketing side of hiring. That covers employer brand, candidate attraction, campaigns, tracking and the hiring systems underneath them. It is a consultancy and product studio, not a recruitment agency.
Alongside audits and project work, the business runs Studio, a recruitment marketing toolkit for recruiters and in-house talent teams. It turns a single job description into a set of editable hiring assets, from the job advert and search strings to outreach messages and interview kits.
SetpointHQ also publishes The SetpointHQ Index, a free resource that looks at how employers show up when candidates research them, including in AI assistants such as ChatGPT.
Andy Pirie said: “More and more candidates start by asking an AI assistant who is good to work for, before they ever see a job advert. Most employers have no idea what those answers say about them. We help businesses of any size understand how candidates find them, and fix the parts that are letting good applicants slip away.”
Andy has spent his career in marketing, in-house and agency, much of it in sectors where staff are hard to find. SetpointHQ works with employers across health and social care, logistics, hospitality and professional services, and with Suffolk businesses of every size.
