A leading Suffolk-based digital insurance broker is celebrating after one of its account executives was awarded the Insurance Institute of Ipswich, Suffolk and North Essex Prize Committee Award 2019.
Lisa Carr, account executive at PolicyBee, was presented with the award at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall.
Lisa said: “I am thrilled to have won this award. I always try to exceed my clients’ expectations and ensure every interaction they have with us is a positive one. Making the customer experience easier is what I love most about my job and I am proud to have been recognised for my achievements.
“Last year I worked hard, with the support of PolicyBee, to complete my IF3 and I10 accreditations as well as undertaking product, compliance, GDPR and security awareness training. I am lucky that I have an employer that encourages ongoing learning and development enabling me to be the best broker I can be.”
Head of customer service, Kerri-Anne Hockley said: “We are incredibly proud of Lisa. She is an asset to the PolicyBee team and a shining example to other young insurance brokers. Her thirst for learning and passion for sharing her knowledge with the team is admirable. Lisa truly embodies our company values by always putting the customer first. This, coupled with her keen eye for detail, is why we regularly use her as a client advocate in the development of new products.”
The Prize Committee Award is a discretionary award that recognises excellence and is given to just one person a year.
Lisa was also a top-three finalist in the Young Broker Award category and a runner up for the Gordon Warren Young Achiever of the Year award which commends high achievements for insurance professionals under the age of 30.
The Insurance Institute of Ipswich, Suffolk and North Essex is a regional branch of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII).
