Mortgage broker celebrates award wins as it launches innovative new technology

An East Anglian mortgage broker is celebrating winning two awards, on the back of the launch of a technological advancement which will help mortgage seekers in the region.

Boon Brokers, which has its office in Bungay, has been awarded the titles of East Anglia Property Finance Specialists of the Year 2020 in the Worldwide Finance Awards 2020 and Best Independent Mortgage Brokerage in East Anglia in the SME News Awards 2020.

Boon Brokers was nominated with reference to its focus on making the mortgage process simple for clients to understand whilst being as efficient as technology will allow. The company last month launched a more advanced online client profile system, which enables more of the process to be managed and recorded online than ever before.

The online profiles allow mortgage seekers and their broker to upload, view and sign documents online, add notes, and access and compare all the data they need to enable them to make an informed decision. Text and email alerts keep the client updated and able to see where their application stands at any given moment. The system is believed to be amongst the most comprehensive available in the industry.

Boon Brokers is run by father and son team Michael and Gerard Boon, who felt vulnerable consumers with limited financial knowledge were often taken advantage of by other brokers. The company does not charge client fees for mortgage or insurance advice or product arrangement. It is also directly authorised by the FCA to enable whole of market access, meaning it is not limited in the recommendations of products it can offer to clients.
