Prettys Solicitors in Ipswich has shown it is determined to invest in the future – by creating a new business development and marketing director role.
Dave Richardson took on the new position just after the new year and is excited to be part of the company’s push to expand.
“It’s a credit to the partnership in recognising the need to bring in some professional marketing experience to help with its growth plans,” he said.
“This is a new role at the company, and it shows Prettys’ intention to expand and invest in the future.
“My first days with the company have been amazing, we have a great team of talented people here.
“The weeks I have worked for Prettys – mostly from home due to lockdown – has given me enormous confidence in what we can achieve.”
Dave previously worked in marketing in the property and construction sectors and has spent the last 12 years at a large regional law firm.
An avid cyclist, Dave also loves riding his beloved motorised scooter – a red Vespa.
A grandfather-of-two, Dave also has a passion for live music and photography, having studied photography at art college.
And it was only last year he retired from playing five-a-side football – where he hadn’t missed a match in 40 years.
“I am really looking forward to giving our team opportunities to take on new clients and to help realise the company’s ambitions,” he said.
“Last year was a difficult time for most companies so it is a real show of confidence from Prettys in creating this new role.
“It is a very exciting time for the firm, and I am thrilled to take on the challenge.
“It really demonstrates the company’s ambitions for the future and I am delighted to be part of it.”
