New name for leading Suffolk hotel chain

The owners of a collection of Suffolk hotels, including The Brudenell in Aldeburgh, have rebranded to The Hotel Folk.

Formerly known as TA Hotel Collection, the hotel groups says the new name has come about after nearly half a million pounds was invested in new systems.

The group says the rebranded name reflects its intention to invest in its people. Chief operating officer Jenny Hill told the EADT: “Our aim is to ensure we have the very best teams across all sectors of the industry, from bed makers to baristas and chefs to sommeliers, each carefully trained to be an expert in their own sphere.

“We believe our guests’ experience should exceed expectations every time they visit one of our hotels.”

The group’s wesbites, including the Swan in Lavenham, have been revamped.
