Nurse launches wellbeing and leadership support business
Victoria Winfield-Brown, a Registered Nurse & Registered Health Visitor was recently made redundant from her senior nurse leadership role. She has taken the opportunity to launch a new Suffolk based business, Aprisce.
Aprisce brings together three distinct but connected areas under one brand: organisational development, professional mentoring and personal wellbeing.
Aprisce offer organisational development support in areas including leadership, culture, workplace wellbeing, engagement, change management, bespoke away days, keynote speaking and workshops.Victoria holds an MBA and is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, alongside her professional registration as a Nurse and Health Visitor.
Professional mentoring supports people at different stages of their working lives, from those unsure how to begin, or change a career, through to established professionals navigating leadership, development and their next step.
The personal wellbeing side of the business offers carefully curated treatments from a peaceful setting. Services include massage, facials, reflexology, baby massage, hopi-ear candling and sensory wellbeing experiences. Only one client is welcomed at a time, allowing for a calm, unhurried and highly personal experience. Wellbeing treatments can also be combined with organisational development packages.
Victoria said: “I realised that different parts of my career were more connected than they first appeared. Whether I was supporting an individual, leading a team or working across an organisation, the common thread was always about helping people to thrive.
“Aprisce has grown from that. For one person, investing in themselves may mean making time for their well-being. For another, it may mean changing direction professionally or developing as a leader. For an organisation, it may mean supporting its people, culture and leadership.”
Aprisce launches in Elmswell on 24 August. To find out more, visit the Aprisce website, or @aprisceuk on Facebook/Instagram.
