Hopkins Homes and Flagship Group have announced a joint venture, working in partnership to deliver 300 homes at a new housing development in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

Hopkins Homes, one of the largest independent house builders in East Anglia, is the lead developer at the site on land south of Union Road and will be building a range of 240 one to four-bedroom houses, bungalows and apartments.  Norwich-based Flagship Group will create 60 affordable homes, including rented, shared ownership and open market sale.

Commenting on the joint venture, James Hopkins, Executive Chairman of Hopkins Homes, said: “We pride ourselves on the quality of the homes we create and the strength of our links with the local community. We are pleased to be working with a housing association who have such strong ties to the East of England, an area where we provide exceptional new homes throughout the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

“Through this joint venture, we are taking our longstanding relationship with Flagship Group to the next level and helping with the housing market needs in this area of Suffolk.”

Hopkins Homes has previously worked with Flagship Group, a housing association who own, maintain and manage over 28,000 homes in the East of England, on developments in Church Hill, Saxmundham, Suffolk; Fordham Road, Soham, Cambridgeshire; and Long Lane, Mulbarton, Norfolk.
