A new brand and website – bringing four of the UK’s leading names in health and social care recruitment under one roof – signals a bold new direction for Ipswich-based Sanctuary Personnel.

With 200 employees at their Ipswich head office in Franciscan Way, they are already the third-biggest health and social care recruiter in the UK. The decision to consolidate the brands is a nod to the company’s ambition to become number one.

Awarded ‘Best Public and Third Sector Recruitment Agency 2019’ at the national Recruiter Awards, Sanctuary Personnel is already highly respected for its innovative approach to recruitment; making considerable cost savings at local authorities and NHS trusts.

But being at the top comes with its own challenges.

Health and social care professionals looking for their next role, understandably, have high expectations. “They want to be able to find the ideal role to push their career forward, despite frontline pressures,” says Sanctuary Personnel’s chief executive, James Rook.

The new brand identity and website mark the start of a business transformation programme; one that uses data to reinforce human connectivity; matching thousands of professionals, to the right career opportunities, at just the right time. It will redefine what health and social care professionals expect from their recruitment agency.

The Sanctuary branding in use

James added: “We work hard to help our community of social workers, nurses, allied health professionals, mental health specialists and criminal justice staff develop their careers. It’s a task that we take extremely seriously – after all, the people we place are looking after those at their most vulnerable.

“For us, our new brand is about reimagining the way we do business. Starting with our website, we’re investing heavily into new systems and processes that take those registered with us on a new path; one where they have a heightened sense of control over their career”.

Marketing director at Sanctuary Personnel, Andrew Pirie, said: “Technology has changed so quickly that we need to be able to support our community through every stage of the recruitment process – from identifying suitable opportunities to settling into their new role. Our new website will make it easier for professionals to log into their personal dashboard and see which stage they are at in their individual recruitment journey.

“Ultimately, it’s about making use of technology to supplement our personal approach to recruitment.”

James added: “We’re still the same company – only we’re much more dynamic as we prepare ourselves for another growth phase. “
