Financial services firm Scrutton Bland has announced a record number of vacancies across the business. There are currently 21 roles on offer, ranging from apprenticeships to executives, paraplanners and managers, and in services ranging from IT to corporate finance, audit and financial planning.
The business has been a fixture in the East Anglian financial sector for over one hundred years and like other businesses, has had to adapt as the restrictions imposed by the pandemic changed the working practices at their offices in Ipswich, Colchester, Diss and Cambridge.
Jason Fayers, Managing Partner commented: “We are confident that business activity in our region is accelerating as the UK economy moves out of lockdown. Our business clients range from owner managed and family businesses to large corporate concerns, charities and public sector organisations, and all are now gearing up to thrive in this changing economy.
“For our private clients, we know there are excess savings as people have not been able to spend on holidays and so forth. The pandemic has made many people revaluate their life plans and many are looking to retire early and are coming to us to help plan for their future.”
Caroline Bixby, HR Director added: “We are always looking for positive, professional and ambitious people to join our team, and can offer a dynamic and supportive working environment, with a great benefits package.
“The addition of 21 roles across the firm represents an increase of over 10% to our workforce, which is a fantastic indication of the way the business is developing. If you’ve been thinking of working in financial services, there’s never been a better time to get in touch!”
Details of the vacancies can be found on Scrutton Bland’s website.
